Continental Airlines, Sr. Director – Industry Affairs

Glenn Morse has been Sr. Director – Industry Affairs for Continental Airlines since January 1998. His primary responsibilities are technical lobbying and industry coordination on behalf of Continental in the areas of Air Traffic Control, aircraft noise, airport capacity and efficiency, and airfield construction. Since joining the airline, he has worked closely with Continental Government Affairs staff in Washington to obtain funding for airspace redesign in the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area and NAVAIDS at all three Continental hub airports.

Prior to joining Continental, Glenn served for 13 years as Managing Director – Regional Operations, with the Air Transport Association of America in the Eastern Region Office located in Valley Stream, New York. This office coordinated ATC and operational issues, aircraft noise, and airfield construction projects for ATA member carriers in the busy Northeast Corridor, including the three New York airports, three Washington DC airports, Philadelphia, Boston, and Pittsburgh. In this position, Mr. Morse collaborated with the FAA and airport operators to improve the airlines’ operating environment and reduce delays.

Glenn started his airline career with TWA. After graduating from Brown University in 1971 with a BA/BS in Aerospace Engineering, he worked as a Weight and Balance Engineer at the TWA Maintenance and Overhaul Base in Kansas City and as Manager Flight Crew Operating Procedures at the TWA Corporate Headquarters in New York City.

Mr. Morse received an MBA from University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1975 and is a commercial, multi-engine, instrument rated pilot.
