With over 17 years of professional experience in the field of airport/airspace planning and design, Mr. Scarborough has been responsible for design, development, and implementation of height zoning ordinances over major cities where urban sprawl was encroaching on the airspace of large, hub airports. He has worked extensively with airline performance engineers, the Federal Aviation Administration, airport authorities, and developers to understand the needs of each party and reach solutions that allow for economic development while not impacting takeoff criteria related to the performance capabilities and safety of the airport’s fleet mix.
