Mr. Peter Markus has 25 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and installing radar and navigational aids circuits / systems.
Involved with analyzing impacts of wind turbines on radars since 2003; participated in Jason Study and the Intergovernmental Workgroup on wind turbine impacts to radars; wrote the FAA Western Service Area guidelines for evaluating wind turbine impacts on radars.
Mr. Markus is a past member of several national and international workgroups defining requirements for surveillance systems (ADS-B Requirements Focus Group, ADS-B Separation Standards Workgroup, and RTCA Subcommittee 209 – transponders).
Mr. Markus holds a Bachelors degree in Math and Physics (honors) and is a private pilot.
