Speaker: Robert M. Ellis

General Counsel, Ridgeline Energy LLC

Robert Ellis is the general counsel and manages much of the development activity at a successful Seattle, WA based wind energy company. He has been an attorney for 19 years, and has significant experience at sea as a ship's officer, and ashore in management, and project management, roles. As general counsel, he is responsible for all of the company’s legal work, and has helped negotiate project purchase and sale, and joint venture, agreements, reviews and approves all company legal agreements, and selects and manages outside counsel. He also advises the CEO and president in determining business strategy, fundraising, company organizational structure, and leadership matters.
