Vice President, Principal of Planning Technology
Robert Ori is one of two principal owners of Planning Technology, Inc. As Vice President of the firm, he is responsible for coordination, technical conduct and quality control of company tasks. His expertise centers on the development and implementation of new and unique local and web-based computer software applications for the aviation community. Three example software initiatives are the Three-Dimensional Airspace Analysis Programs (3DAAP), the Joint Automated Capital Improvement Program (JACIP) and the Interactive Airport Layout Plan (iALP) each of which have set the standards in airspace review, grants management and interactive planning for airport sponsors, the FAA and State DOTs. He is currently working with the Port of Seattle and the FAA Seattle Airports District Office on the first time development and implementation of a web-based iALP.
Mr. Ori has a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelors of Science in Aeronautical Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He has over 20 years of experience in the aviation field including airline operations and airport planning. He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, Airports Council International, and the Florida Airport Managers Association and holds a private pilots certificate.
