OCAS was founded in 1999 by two ex-military pilots. Several friends had lost their lives in collision with wire crossings. Current marking standards have negligent effect, and a ground radar based obstacle warning system was developed. Technology investments in excess of USD 60 mill. The OCAS system is today operational in Norway, USA and Canada.

Born 1962 in Fredrikstad, Norway. Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) 1984-1997, Fighter Pilot. War Academy and Staff School.
Distinguish Graduate USAF Test Pilot School, Class 92A.

Experimental Test Pilot in RNoAF; Test pilot and Program Manager for numerous test programs, including F-5 Weapons Test Program, Eglin AFB and F-16 Midlife-Update Program, Edwards AFB 1995-1997.

Retired from RNoAF 1997 as Major. Hired as Test Pilot, later Fleet Technical Pilot and Fleet Chief Pilot MD-80/90 for Scandinavian Airlines Systems (SAS).

One of two founders of OCAS 1999.

Left SAS 2005 for OCAS.

Total flying hours 5000, including 1000 hrs F-16, 1500 hrs F-5 and 2500 hrs divided on a total of 70 different types of aircraft (including helicopters).
