Speaker: Dr. James A. Walker

Dr. Walker is Vice Chairman of enXco, Inc., a leading developer, owner and operator of wind projects headquartered in Escondido, California.
He has worked in energy over 30 years, pioneering wind development in Greece, Turkey and Mexico. He served in the Office of Management and Budget under Nixon and Ford and at the California Energy Commission under Governor Jerry Brown. He is on the Board of the American Wind Energy Association and is its President through May 2009. He was named the Association’s 2007 “Industry Person of the Year,” and is a Director of Nordic Windpower, a supplier of two-bladed one megawatt wind turbines. He is also Chairman of AMRT Ltd, a minerals technology company with operations in southern Africa. He has a Physics degree from Princeton and a Doctorate from Harvard Business School. He resides in Athens, Greece and Carlsbad, California.
