The Supplemental Notice is a critical component to report obstructions that are either ‘Under Construction’ (part 1) or ‘Constructed/Built’ (part 2). AVN’s Obstacle Evaluation Section relies on the timeliness and accuracy of this form, along with submitted surveys to verify existing obstructions for the FAA’s Digital Obstacle File.

Rosemarie Longobardo started with Aeronautical Charting in 1997 as a Cartographer, analyzing airspace, airways, flight procedures and fixes. In 2002, she became Project Manager of the National Flight Database, used in Flight Management Systems. In 2004, Rosemarie was promoted to Manager of AVN’s Obstacle Evaluation Section, responsible for FAA’s Digital Obstacle File.
