National Program Manger - Obstruction Evaluation Service

Sheri A. Edgett Baron Ms. Sheri Edgett Baron, the National Program Manger for the Obstruction Evaluation Service, oversees air traffic specialists and aeronautical information specialists that conduct aeronautical studies of structures in the National Airspace System and determines effects of proposed construction on the navigable airspace. She also has management oversight of obstruction evaluation staff dedicated to wind turbine processes.

Prior to joining Obstruction Evaluation Service, she had extensive background in formulating regulatory policy related to the National Airspace System.

Ms. Edgett Baron has over 30 years of air traffic experience in the FAA and United States Air Force. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Paralegal Studies from Rivier College and holds an Associate Degree in Air Traffic Control.

Ms. Edgett Baron formerly served as designate to the Interagency Committee on Women’s Business Enterprise, on behalf of the Federal Railroad Administrator, committee representative from the Department of Transportation, and served as former Chair of the FAA Headquarters Federal Women’s Program Committee.
